The Layer Perfect is made from clear acrylic for ease when measuring and positioning. It works with all shapes and sizes and is 9″ x 9″ x 1/8″ thick so you can even layer 3D projects. The steel reinforced edges allows you to work with a blade without damaging your Layer Perfect as well as pen or pencil for straight lines.

Matting and layering
Drawing circles and curves
Positioning gems, buttons, brads, or pearls
Using the holes to pierce through and create faux stitching

This is a very versatile tool and has more uses than i originally thought. It is a multipurpose tool and is very robust. Well worth the money in my opinion.
